Our guests will be accommodated in a 3-star lakeside hotel in Siófok - the capital of the Lake. First day
- half-day excursion by bus and ferry-boat to Tihany.
During the program visiting the sights of the
peninsula including the medival Abbey and the picturesque fishing village. Possibility for shopping.
Second day is free for leisure. Services: half board in the hotel.
Transfer from Budapest and back on request.

Date: 16-17 June 2001 - Saturday - Sunday 1 night, 2 days
The program starts at 9.00 a.m. from the hotels by private bus. The excursion will leave Budapest for
Gödöllő, visiting the Grassalkovich Royal Palace, the summer residence of Elisabeth - 'Sissi', queen of
the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy.
After Gödöllő we continue our travel to Hollókő, - visiting the
Village museum, which is registered as the part of World Heritage. Our guests will become acquianted
with "Palóc" national traditions.
Afternoon travel to Eger - this beautiful Baroque town - which is also
called "the town of the Hungarian wines". Dinner and accommodation in Eger.
Second day: After breakfast sightseeing tour in Eger - entrance to the fortress also included. Our guests can take part in a short organ concert in the Basilica, which will be followed by lunch and wine tasting of the famous Eger wines in a wine-cellar of 'Szépasszony-völgy' (Beautiful woman's valley). Arrival to Budapest at 6.00 p.m.

During a 3.5 hours guided tour starting by bus from the Main Entrance of the University our guests will
have the opportunity to take a glance at the Hungarian capital - visiting the Heroes' Square, passing by
the Opera and the St. Steven's Basilica and the House of Parliament. Our route will be continued in the
Royal Castle area by travelling with the funicular, which offers a unique panorama on the city.
Interior visit in the Matthias Church and the Fishermens' Bastion is also included.

Date: 19 June 2001 - 8.00 p.m.
Departure: from 8.00 p.m from the hotels. Short sightseeing tour by bus around the illuminated city.
Dinner in a traditional Hungarian restaurant including wine and life gipsy music. Then going to the
Citadel Fortress on the Gellért Hill from where you have a marvellous view on the illuminated city. A
Farewell drink is to be served here and the tour ends at the hotel or at the Casino (voucher for free
admission included), if required.

The program starts at 9.00 a.m. departing from the hotels by bus to Kecskemét. Short sight- seeing tour
and welcome reception in the City Hall in Kecskemét, then continue to Lajosmizse - where our guests
will be greeted with traditional welcome drink. After the horse show possibility for carriage riding and
getting acquainted with the typical Hungarian plants and animals. A typical Hungarian lunch will be
served with wine in the Csarda accompanied with gipsy music.
Arrival to Budapest at 6.00 p.m.
